Our Board of Directors
ECC's Board of Directors is responsible for the policies, finances, fundraising and administration of the school. Our Board is currently made up of dedicated parents of ECC students. If you have any interest in joining the Board, please email The Board.
Ani Levy (she/her)
Ani is a retired teacher, mother of two ECC alumni, small business owner and New Jersey resident. Ani previously served on the ECC Board of Directors as Secretary, Vice President and President, and has returned to serve as Board President once again.
Ani was raised outside of Boston in Newton, MA and moved to Washington, DC to attend American University, where she double majored in Public Communication and Graphic Design. In the years following graduation, she worked at an advertising agency and in the Community Heath Department of Holy Cross Hospital. As much as she enjoyed these positions, she changed focuses to become an elementary school teacher. After earning degrees through Montgomery County and the University of Maryland she worked in Montgomery County Public Schools as a first grade teacher.
In 2017, Ani’s husband was offered a job in NYC that he could not turn down, so they packed up the family and moved to New Jersey. This fall, her daughter will be in 7th grade and son in 5th, and as hard as it is to remember them as Bluebirds and Owls, Ani is thrilled to be able to help ECC from a distance by rejoining the board of directors.
