2012 Summer Camp Information

June 18 - July 26, 2012 (Registration: February 1 through May 18)

The Early Childhood Center is a private preschool that offers a developmentally appropriate, child-centered program for children ages two through five years old. Children are placed in small groups to provide opportunities for play-based learning and social skill development.

Children ages 2 years old to 5 years old are invited to attend.
(2-year-old children must be born by Sept. 1, 2009)

Hours are 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Flexible pick-up at 12:30 for 2s)
(Session III/Option D: Parent-Child class meets from 9:30 - 11:30 AM)

EARLY DROP is available from 8:15 AM – 9:00 AM
AFTER CARE is available until 3:00 PM

Schedule for Summer Sessions:

Session I: Monday, June 18th – Thursday, June 28th (9 days)
Session II: Monday, July 2nd – Friday, July 13th (9 days) (ECC will be closed Wednesday, July 4th for Independence Day)
Session III: Monday, July 16th – Thursday July 26th (9 days)

Information About our Camp Classes:

Each child will continue in his or her current age level class
Each class will have an experienced teacher and assistant
Group sizes are 10, one large class of 15
Staff includes ECC staff, former camp staff, college student assistants, and high school volunteers
Adult-child ratios are low
ECC follows Maryland State guidelines for fingerprinting & background checks for all staff
ECC reserves the right to combine or cancel classes due to low enrollment

Summer Tuition: Session I, II, and III

Option A. Two Days (Tuesday, Thursday): $200.00/session
Option B. Three Days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday): $250.00/session
Option C. Five Days (Monday – Friday; 3s & 4s only): $450.00/session
Option D. Two Days (Tuesday, Thursday; 2s Parent-Child Class*): $120.00/session

(*This option is available for 2-year-olds who are registered for our fall 2s program and is only offered in Session III.)

Important Registration Information

PLEASE CONSIDER YOUR VACATION PLANS BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR SESSIONS. PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

1. Please fill out and sign a registration form for each session indicating option choice for each session.

2. Due at the time of Registration:

$25 Registration Fee for each child attending
Payment for first session your child will attend
$25 deposit for each additional session

3. Final camp payment will be due on May 18, 2012.
